It's well known that the factory pins that hold the timing chain tensioners are only M6 on aluminum blocks. These are a failure point. These upgraded pins are not only larger M8, they are now manufactured by ARP. With the same rolled threads and 8740 material that we all use for all the other hardware in our engine.
