The new retaining plate kit for LS Applications includes the COMP Cams-exclusive Ampco Camshaft retaining plate and 3-bolt Cam bolt locking plate. The Camshaft retaining plate offers major friction improvement over stock cast iron plates. Created out of a high-strength aluminum bronze alloy, the plate is CNC-machined and double-disc ground to precision tolerances. The retaining plate also features a CNC-machined o-ring Seal for positive oil Seal. This plate is a must have for racing, especially on LS Applications retro-fit with a distributor that adds thrust to the Camshaft.Catalog
